Storie Street Grill (Main St)

Best for: Celebrating with Friends/family. Consistently good. Whatever you order.

Wide menu of steaks, seafood, pasta and salads (Kids love the flat bread). Table service. Big covered porch in the back. *Pro tip: call ahead up to two hrs before you want to arrive to get on their seating list.

Six Pence English Pub (Main st)

Best for: Cool pub, grabbing a burger and a beer while catching a Premier League game in NC

Indoor/outdoor seating. Not real big, so go early to beat the rush. No kids menu, but you can be creative with appetizers - mac and cheese balls are to die for - and light items - chicken tenders for two are fantastic. Also classics like Shepards Pie, Bangers and Mash or just get a sandwich or salad and you’ll be happy. Great beer menu too, as you would imagine.

FOGgy Rock Pub (on 321, south of sunset)

Best for: Number one take out spot. They have a walk up window so you don’t even have go in. Always ready in 15-20 mins - Always! And the food is good.

Pub/Restaurant with good food and wide menu. Salads, Sandwiches, Pizza. Good kids menu. Table Service.

Great for Salads (14 on the menu), Sandwiches, Families.

BLOWING ROCK Ale House (just off main st Blowing Rock)

Best for: Husbands tapping out and getting a beer while wives continue to shop till they drop. Just a half block from Main so you can easily meet up with the gang.

Burgers, Salads, Appetizers. Casual. Table Service. Outdoor seating. Great for getting a fresh draft beer and some appetizers.

WoodlandS BBQ (321, south of Sunset)

BBQ with all the fixins. Live music. Casual. Table Service. Ask for a table upstairs where the music is played.

Great for families and live music (starts at 6pm nightly)

Town Tavern (Main Street)

*disclaimer - Town Tavern has fallen on our list a bit. Always over crowded and always at least 30 mins longer wait than they tell you (so frustration). But if you catch it on a weeknight or off season, still good wings and best place to catch a bunch of games on the big TVs

Sports Bar on Main Street Blowing Rock. Casual, Table Service.

Great for wings and watching a football game. Outdoor seating.
